Christian Post Traumatic Stress Retreat for Police, Fire, EMT &
9-1-1 Personnel

If you have been through a serious traumatic situation and still are experiencing stress issues related to that event, we want to provide you with a Christian approach to resolving those issues.

The Fellowship of Christian Peace Officers-USA, in cooperation with other qualified and concerned ministries, is planning an intensive retreat for you (and your spouse if married) at a beautiful conference center with all sessions led by highly-qualified Christian counselors with years of experience dealing with issues similar to yours.  Also present will be certified Christian police counselors with understanding and insights into the unique problems law enforcement personnel face.

While this conference still is in the planning stage, here are the initial details:

  • It is exclusively for personnel who have experienced life-changing trauma (shootings/personnel assault, vehicle or other accidents, internal affairs investigations, loss of a spouse, stressful on-site incidents, etc.)
  • Spousal involvement is requested, as stress affects the family.
  • It tentatively is being planned for sometime in March or April of 2008 (details pending).
  • It will begin on a Sunday or Monday and most likely will end on a Thursday or Friday.
  • It will be held in a very beautiful and private isolated setting with first-class accommodations for lodging, meals and sessions not far from Atlanta, GA.
  • Other than a $50 (U.S.) registration fee, there will be no charge for the conference; attendees must pay their own transportation costs.
  • Registration will be through FCPO of USA.
The maximum number who can attend is 62; minimum 25.  To help us plan please let us know the following:

This conference will be built fully around Bible principles and led by highly-skilled Godly counselors.  The retreat center is a non-smoking, non-alcoholic facility.  It is open to non-Christian personnel who understand this as well as our premise that a close personal walk with Jesus Christ is the starting point for true healing.

Your response is requested on or before Monday, November 5th.

Sincerely in Christ,

C. Grant Wolf
Executive Director, Fellowship of Christian Peace Officers-USA
Sr. Chaplain, Chattanooga TN Police Department

Special Note:  Please forward this on to others you feel should know of this special Christian-oriented post traumatic stress syndrome retreat.
