Police Week Mission Trip
Operation: Tent City
In 1962, President John F. Kennedy signed a proclamation which designated May 15 as Peace Officers Memorial Day and the week in which that date falls as National Police Week. Currently, tens of thousands of law enforcement officers from around the world converge on Washington, D.C. every year to participate in a number of planned events which honor those law enforcement officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty for the safety and protection of others.
Once again this year, FCPO will have a booth in the Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) "Tent City" in Washington, D.C. for National Police Week. As one of the only faith-based organizations present, we have a unique opportunity to meet, pray with, and share Christ with others who work in law enforcement.
Please support the outreach efforts of our team in D.C. this year prayerfully and financially, and pray that hearts would be receptive to the love of Jesus Christ.
