Time spent daily in God's Word is essential
We believe time spent daily in God's Word is foundational to becoming the men and women God desires for us to be. As you read and meditate on God's Word, He will fill your heart with His truth, and will clarify and reinforce the things He has taught you.
Think about it: if law enforcement officers aren't using biblical truth, whose truth are they using? If they are using biblical truth, isn't a deeper understanding of God's Word essential?
To that end, FCPO-USA has launched Operation: In the Word, a ministry project designed to get The One Year Bible into the hands of as many men and women serving in the law enforcement community as we possibly can.
This daily reading Bible divides the text into 365 sections, so you can read through the entire Bible in one year in as little as 15 minutes a day. Each daily reading includes a portion from the Old Testament, the New Testament, Psalms, and Proverbs.
What if you could help put this life-changing tool into the hands of police officers across the U.S.? What difference might their time spent "in the Word" make in their lives and communities?
Study to show yourself approved by God, a workman who need not be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth."
In addition to including The One Year Bible in each New Member Packet, FCPO also wants to make this Bible available to our chapters across the nation, for distribution in their local areas to fellow officers, chapter meeting visitors, police academy graduating classes, etc.
Tyndale House, publisher of The One Year Bible, is making the NLT Compact Edition available to FCPO at a discounted price but we must purchase in lots of 500 copies.
Your gift for Operation: In the Word will help promote spiritual growth in the lives of our men and women in law enforcement across the nation. All gifts to this ministry project are tax-deductible.
