It's an exciting time to be a part of the Fellowship of Christian Peace Officers!
God is moving and the signs of His hand at work in this ministry are everywhere!!!
In recent months, God has opened a huge door in Chicago. FCPO is now inside the Chicago Police Academy and headquarters openly! There is a tremendous thirst for God's Word and how it applies to law enforcement. FCPO has already sent several hundred books and we are still providing them with more and more materials. We praise Him for the opportunity to minister and for providing the resources to do so.
We have also been presented with another opportunity that came as a total surprise, but first, a little background.
For the past 5 years, we have had an FCPO Mission Team ministering in Washington, D.C. during the annual National Police Week observance. In addition to praying with and for countless individuals, they also distribute, free of charge, gospel literature and Bibles, including a large quantity of the Strength for the Streets Thin Blue Line Bible published by the American Bible Society.

This year, one of the team members ordered some of these Bibles to give away at other special events while representing FCPO. Recently, he gave some away to several police spouses. They were part of a Facebook cop wives group and posted a picture with a nice write up about the kind man from FCPO who gave them the Bibles. They sent a message to all of their Facebook group that FCPO gave them away and all you had to do is contact us and they did!!! Just to be clear, we did not give them away except at Police Week in D.C., until now.
These wives are believers who want to give their husbands this Bible and they are so excited that we are doing this! One was excited because no one really thought about them. They have all been assured that they are thought about and that FCPO is there for them. We have been praying for ways that FCPO could minister to and involve spouses of cops on a national level.
I need you to pray about being a part of this. This is a huge opportunity to minister not only to cops, but to involve spouses in supporting and ministering to their law enforcement officer. This is nowhere in our budget so FCPO is once again stepping out in faith. If you would like to help, click here to make your gift. Please designate it for "Bibles for Cops".
This is a ministry opportunity that is only going to grow bigger and bigger. It is a blessing and I believe God will bless the giver. Please join with us in thanking Him for this opportunity and thanking Him in advance for how He will provide. We pray that God will do things through FCPO that no one but He alone can take credit for.
