On June 3rd, the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department’s Apple Valley Station’s Police Activities League hosted a golf tournament fundraiser. The Fellowship of Christian Peace Officers High Desert Chapter (Chapter #15) purchased a booth spot and set up a table, "sharing our chapter and FCPO with pride", said Chapter Chairman Michael Battisti. "We passed out free Operation Safety 91 cards and stickers, and even received a donation from a cop participating in the tourney!"
Great job, guys! After several years as a dormant chapter, the FCPO High Desert Chapter has recently been reactivated by a group of guys who are enthusiastic about reaching their fellow officers with the gospel and making Chapter 15's presence known in San Bernadino County!
