FCPO Chapter 161 Launches Strong

February 4, 2026

Off to a great start! The Fellowship of Christian Peace Officers is excited to announce the official launch of FCPO Armor of DuPage Chapter 161 in Illinois.

Chapter 161 marked this exciting new beginning with a law enforcement appreciation breakfast on Saturday, January 17, at the Holiday Inn in Carol Stream, Illinois. Approximately 65 active, retired, and recruit officers—along with their families—gathered for a meaningful morning of fellowship, encouragement, and faith.

Those in attendance were blessed with inspiring Gospel music and a powerful message from Ray McElroy, former Chicago Bears cornerback (2000 season) and longtime NFL chaplain, including his service as a former Bears team chaplain. His words resonated deeply with those who serve, reminding officers of the importance of faith, purpose, and perseverance both on and off the job.

The event also featured special contributions from the DuPage County Sheriff’s Office Honor Guard, The Bagpipes and Drums of the Emerald Society, Chicago Police Department Officer Luke Elmore, and a stirring performance of the National Anthem by Evie Kasper. Additional musical blessings were provided by Anthony Frank Cassano on trumpet and George Nicholson, Gospel worship singer, songwriter, and storyteller.

FCPO Armor of DuPage Chapter 161 now meets on the first Friday of each month at 8:15 a.m. at Gospelife Church (1N050 Gary Ave., Carol Stream, IL). All active, retired, and recruit law enforcement officers are warmly invited to attend.
