Service
Making a difference by serving those in need.
Service lies at the very heart of the Christian life. Jesus Christ modeled perfect, selfless service throughout His time on earth, and the Fellowship of Christian Peace Officers-USA (FCPO) seeks to follow His example. One powerful way our chapters and members live out their faith is through community service projects that bless the poor, hungry, needy, and disabled. These acts of kindness not only meet immediate physical needs but also open doors for spiritual conversations, pointing people to the hope found in Christ.
While each FCPO chapter tailors its service efforts to the specific needs of its community, the mission remains the same: to minister to others in Jesus’ name. No project is too small when it’s done with love and purpose. Whether it’s visiting a retired or injured officer, buying a bed for a child whose family can't afford one, building a wheelchair ramp for a disabled officer, or delivering a warm meal and a prayer to someone without a home, every act of service makes a real and lasting difference.
FCPO service projects are as diverse as the communities we serve. Some chapters organize events to bring Christmas gifts to children who might otherwise go without, while others focus on practical repairs, emergency aid, or supporting families who are struggling. Whatever the project, the goal is to demonstrate the love of Christ in a tangible way, showing those we serve that they are seen, valued, and not alone.
These efforts not only transform lives in the community but also deepen the faith and fellowship of the officers involved. By stepping outside of their daily routines and engaging in acts of service, FCPO members are reminded that their calling extends beyond the badge. They are ambassadors of Christ, equipped to carry His light into even the darkest places.
“By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another." - John 13:35 ESV
